Baccarat offers three main betting options, each with a different RTP. Choose wisely!
If you have ever watched a James Bond film and been captivated by the cool, composed scene of him playing at a baccarat table with a martini in hand — that is the image many people associate with this game. In reality, though, baccarat is one of the easiest casino games to learn and boasts one of the highest RTPs in the industry. At LuckyBet777, we want every Malaysian player to enjoy the game with confidence and ease.
Baccarat doesn't require complex strategy like poker or card-counting skills like blackjack. It's a game of chance and intuition, with three basic betting options that are incredibly easy to understand. That's precisely why it has become a favourite among millions of players across Asia, including Malaysia.
The goal of baccarat is to predict which hand — Banker or Player — will have a total card value closest to 9. You can also bet on a Tie if you believe both hands will end with the same value. Those are the only three options available.
Card values in baccarat work a little differently from most card games. Cards 2 through 9 are worth their face value. 10s, Jacks, Queens, and Kings are all worth zero. Aces are worth 1. If the total of two cards exceeds 9, only the second digit counts — for example, 7 + 8 = 15, so the value is 5. This means the highest possible value in baccarat is 9, commonly known as a "natural".
In most baccarat rounds, both Banker and Player start with two cards each. A third card may be dealt based on pre-set automatic rules — players do not need to make any decisions about this. The dealer handles the entire process according to standard casino rules. This makes baccarat extremely straightforward to play, as you never have to worry about making the wrong call mid-game.
One of the first things to understand about baccarat is that the Banker bet is statistically your best option. With an RTP of 98.94% at LuckyBet777 tables, the house edge on the Banker bet is just 1.06% — among the lowest of any casino game available. Even with the 5% commission applied to Banker bet winnings, the higher win probability still makes it the statistically smarter play compared to the Player bet.
The Player bet carries an RTP of 98.76% with a house edge of 1.24% — still very competitive compared to most other games. Winnings pay out at 1:1 with no deductions. Many players prefer the Player bet precisely because there's no commission to factor in.
The Tie bet, while tempting with its 1:8 payout, carries a significantly lower RTP of 85.64% — meaning the house edge is nearly 14.4%. Our advice: avoid the Tie bet as your main wager, or use it only as a small side bet if you have a strong gut feeling.
LuckyBet777 offers a wide range of baccarat variants to suit every type of player. Baccarat Classic is the traditional format, ideal for both beginners and seasoned players. Each round takes roughly 60–90 seconds, giving you enough time to make your decision without feeling rushed.
Speed Baccarat is the go-to choice for players who prefer faster-paced action. With rounds lasting just 27 seconds, you can fit in far more hands in the same amount of time. It's a genuine adrenaline rush, especially when a session is on a hot streak. Our Speed Baccarat tables consistently draw the most players, a testament to how popular this fast format has become.
Baccarat Squeeze is for those who enjoy the drama. In this format, cards are revealed slowly — the dealer folds and bends each card before showing its full value. This builds incredible suspense and excitement, especially when you're waiting on that final card to decide whether you win or lose.
For players who prefer simplicity, Dragon Tiger is the perfect choice. Each side receives just one card — whichever is higher wins. Straightforward, fast-paced and hugely entertaining. Dragon Tiger is especially popular among Malaysian players who are new to live casino and want to jump in without the complexity.
One of baccarat's most compelling features is the road map display, which tracks the results of previous rounds. At LuckyBet777, every table shows the Bead Plate, Big Road, Big Eye Boy, Small Road and Cockroach Road — all the trend-tracking boards used by baccarat players worldwide.
Please bear in mind that baccarat is a game of independent chance — each round is an independent event and previous results do not directly influence future outcomes. The road map is simply a tool to help you identify patterns and make decisions based on current trends, not a guarantee of future results. Use the road map as a supplementary guide, not as an absolute prediction.
One of the platform's highlights LuckyBet777 are our trained and friendly dealers. Many of them communicate in Bahasa Melayu and understand the needs of local players. Our HD video streaming lets you see every dealer movement clearly, every card dealt, and every animation at the table — even on a standard 4G data connection. We use the latest streaming technology to ensure a smooth experience free of frustrating buffering.

Not a magic formula — but a more structured approach helps you play longer and smarter
Bet the same amount every round without adjusting your stake. The safest way to manage your bankroll and extend your playing session.
A positive progression system where bets follow a 1, 3, 2, 6 unit sequence on consecutive wins. Designed to maximise profits during a winning streak while keeping risk to a minimum.
Since the Banker has a statistically higher win probability (50.68%), many experienced players stick with the Banker bet throughout a session unless there is a strong signal to switch.
Set a win limit (for example, stop when you are up RM500) and a loss limit (stop when you are down RM200) before you start playing. Stick to these limits without exception — that is the key to disciplined play.
Use the Big Road to spot streaks. If Banker wins 4–5 times in a row, many players continue backing Banker until the pattern shifts. Just remember — no pattern lasts forever.
Side bets such as Pair and Perfect Pair carry a lower RTP than main bets. Use them occasionally to add excitement, not as a core strategy.
What sets the live baccarat experience at LuckyBet777 compared to other platforms? The answer is simple — we built this platform with Malaysian players in mind from day one. They will walk you through the card dealing process, explain how values are calculated, and clarify when a third card is drawn — all with patience and clarity. Never hesitate to ask, because our dealer team is here to make sure your experience is an enjoyable one.
LuckyBet777 offers highly flexible betting limits to suit all types of players. For new players or those on a moderate budget, Classic and Speed Baccarat tables start from as low as RM10 per session. This lets you enjoy a genuine live casino experience without the pressure of high stakes.
For more experienced players looking for a premium casino atmosphere, our VIP Gold table offers limits of up to RM10,000 per hand, while the VIP Platinum table accepts bets of up to RM50,000 per hand. These VIP tables have a more limited number of players to ensure a more exclusive environment and greater personal attention from the dealer.
